Time for a Fresh Surface
Small flaws, if left alone, spread – chalky plaster traps algae, cracks widen, and hollow spots pop off. Our process involves inspecting, prepping, and applying a new finish to ensure your pool is restored to its best condition.
Resurfacing That Bonds and Lasts
A worn pool surface shows itself fast down here. Sun, salt air, and daily swimming grind plaster down until the shell feels rough underfoot, looks blotchy, and never quite looks clean again.

Pool Resurfacing Options for South Florida
Plaster & Marcite
The classic white plaster surface – smooth underfoot, budget-friendly, and easy to match on a traditional pool. We work with Florida Stucco mixes for an even, consistent cure.
Quartz Finishes
Crushed quartz blended into the plaster adds hardness and color depth, so the surface withstands strong sun, salt systems, and everyday swimming better.
Pebble & Aggregate
Natural pebble gives a textured, non-slip feel and rich water color. It hides everyday wear far better than a smooth surface, which is why it’s a favorite here.
Glass Bead Finishes
Tiny glass beads catch the light for a shimmering, jewel-toned surface – the premium pick when the pool is the centerpiece. Explore pool features

Frequently Asked Questions
What goes into a resurfacing estimate?
Pool size and depth, the finish you pick, how much old surface has to come off, and any tile or coping work bundled in. We measure on-site and send an itemized written price quote – no guessing over the phone.
Is pool resurfacing worth it?
For most homeowners, yes. A fresh finish stops a rough, stained, chalky surface from getting worse, brightens the water color, and protects the shell underneath. It’s also the easiest stage at which to fix a surface problem.
Is there a better season for resurfacing in Florida?
We work year-round down here, but the drier months bring fewer rain delays once the pool is drained and prepped. Booking outside peak swim season also means the pool is empty when you’re least likely to miss it.
Can I resurface my pool myself?
We don’t recommend it. Prep is the hard part – the old surface has to be cut back and bonded correctly, or the new plaster will delaminate. Application also runs on a tight clock and takes a full crew troweling at once.
What makes a new pool finish last longer?
Prep, first and always – a clean, bonded base is what keeps plaster from lifting later. After that, it comes down to the material you choose (aggregate and quartz wear harder than smooth plaster) and how the pool is treated early on.
What signs indicate my pool needs resurfacing?
Feet and swimsuits snagging on rough patches, a chalky film on your hand after touching the wall, dark blotches that brushing won’t lift, chips around steps and returns, or bare concrete showing through in spots.
Do I need a licensed contractor to resurface a pool in Florida?
Yes – pool surface work falls under state pool contractor licensing, and the permit goes through your county or city. We’re licensed and insured, and we handle permitting, HOA approval, and inspections so nothing stalls midway.
What pool finish options can I choose from?
We install four options: plaster/marcite, quartz, pebble aggregate, and glass bead. The right choice depends on your budget, the look you want, and how hard you use the pool. Changing tile or coping too? See Pool remodeling services.
