Fix a Tired Pool Deck
We swap out worn concrete for pool pavers designed for Florida heat and salt: travertine, marble, porcelain, or concrete, plus coping to finish the water’s edge.
Good pool deck pavers are only as good as the base under them, so we fix slope and drainage and can extend your deck. Permits handled too. Why paver pool decks work
Pavers Built for Florida Sun and Salt
Bare concrete around a pool takes a beating down here. It bakes by noon, cracks as the ground settles, stains after every storm, and turns slick right where kids run.
-
Hot underfoot Travertine and marble stay cooler in full sun
-
Cracks and settling Single pavers lift and reset, no full tear-out
-
Slick edges Textured coping gives wet feet more grip
-
Puddles after rain Reworked slope and drainage move water away

Pool Deck Paver Installation
Your full deck laid over a compacted, screeded base with tight cuts around steps, planters, and the pool edge. View our pool portfolio
Pool Coping Pavers
Coping caps the pool edge where hands and feet land most. Options include travertine, marble, porcelain, precast concrete, brick, and modern square-edge styles.
Deck Extensions
More room for loungers, a dining set, or an outdoor kitchen. We widen the deck footprint and blend the new area into your existing layout.
Drainage and Slope Corrections
We regrade flat spots and add deck drains so that runoff moves away from the house and slab rather than sitting on the surface after a storm.

Paver Deck Questions We Hear a Lot
What are the best pavers for a pool area?
Travertine is the favorite for bare feet – it stays cooler and grips well. Marble reads as bright and high-end, porcelain holds its color in strong sunlight, and concrete stretches a budget the furthest. We bring samples so you can see them in your own light.
What goes into a pool paver deck estimate?
Square footage, the material and pattern you pick, coping style, any deck extension, and whether the base or drainage needs work. We measure the deck, walk the options with you, then send a written quote with the scope spelled out line by line.
Should I choose pavers or poured concrete around my pool?
Poured concrete is one solid slab, so when South Florida’s ground shifts, it cracks, and the patch always shows. Pavers move with the ground, and a damaged piece lifts out and gets replaced. Most also feel cooler underfoot than a plain gray slab.
Do you sell pool pavers near me?
We’re not a stone yard – we supply and install the pavers ourselves as part of your deck build, anywhere in our South Florida service area. Residential pools and spas
Is paver sealing necessary for a Florida pool deck?
It’s optional, not required. Sealing deepens color and makes spills easier to rinse off, but quality pavers handle sun, rain, and chlorine splash on their own. If you do seal, use a breathable product rated for pool decks to keep the surface grippy.
What causes pavers to shift or sink over time?
Almost always the base, not the paver. A thin or poorly compacted base, water running under the deck, or roots can let sections settle. We compact in lifts, set edge restraints, and correct slope and drainage first to keep the deck flat.
Can you put pavers around an above-ground pool?
Yes. Pavers around an above-ground pool usually form a patio, landing, or partial surround with steps, and we build the base so that water drains away from the pool wall. Layout depends on your yard and how the pool sits in it.
Do coping pavers have to match the deck pavers?
Not at all. Plenty of homeowners pick pool coping pavers in a contrasting tone or a modern square-edge profile to frame the water, then keep the deck simpler. Whether matching or contrasting, we make sure the edges, thickness, and grip line up cleanly.
